C6 is the chemical formula for Carbon, and O2 is the chemical formula for Oxygen, a component of air. Black Widow is the name that Gary decided to call the hand-braided carbon fiber handles, because it takes 8 strips of carbon (same number as legs on a spider) braided together to make the iconic look.

XO Skeleton because there is not an arbor needed inside of the rear grip, its hollow, there is never a break from the rear grip to the blank, its a one piece, it is manufactured, rolled and cured as a one piece. This means the ultimate in sensitivity/vibration transfer from the blank to the hand.

To finish, we hand braid 8 strips of carbon onto the rear grip (its a carbon with a special resin, that becomes slightly tacky when wet) and into the over goes the blank.

The blank is designed around a proprietary reel seat, which gives the maximum cut away for the finger to rest on the blank
